What we do
TAILORING PROJECT
We are very grateful to God that HOPE WITHOUT BORDERS is partnering with us in the work of reaching out to the vulnerable. We have started a tailoring project. In this project we have acquired 1 sewing machine and some materials to start off with. The project is situated in Mityana at SAMARITAN FOR CHILDREN MITYANA base. The project is in its infancy and we are believing God to expand it as we reach out to more vulnerable people in Mityana district to equip them with tailoring skills

Reaching Out To Vulnerable Children
Samaritans For Children has always been there for the most vulnerable children in the different communities of Mityana District in Uganda. We reach out to marginalized and the less privileged children from very humble families. Some of these children are school dropouts. Many dropped out due to lack of scholastic needs and schools to enroll into. In most cases we sponsor them with school fees and scholastic materials.
Outreach To Women & The Elderly
Samaritans For Children doesn’t only caters for the orphans and vulnerable children but also reaches out to youth and women in different communities around Mityana District especially those in need – the widows and those who are thirsty for The Word of God.
We do this by creating women groups purposely for uplifting their economic welfare and their families. Our main target in their families are the children.
We also preach the word of God to these women, their children and youths.
Preaching The Gospel
We work with different churches and schools in different communities around Mityana district in Uganda. We spread the Word of God to the hopeless.
Currently this program is costing us $600 per month. Please join us in carrying out this noble program
Feeding & nutrition program
We feed children in and around Mityana district in Uganda. At the moment we have carefully selected 40 kids in the community. Normally, we select the malnourished between the ages of 1 to 12 years from the communities of Mityana. We feed them with the staple foods of Uganda. Foods like Bananas, maize mill (posho), rice, millet, potatoes with beans, ground nuts etc
We are doing this as far as the available resources can carry us. Currently the program is costing us about $1000 per month. Please join us in carrying out this noble program
Education & Sponsorship Program
We assist orphaned and vulnerable kids by way of providing them with books, school bags, geometry sets, school fees and other necessities that would enable kids them to attend school
