Understanding Our Work
Samaritans for Children exists to serve vulnerable children, families, and communities with compassion, dignity, practical support, and Christian love.
Samaritans for Children is a Christian community-based organisation committed to restoring hope,
protecting dignity, and supporting vulnerable children, families, and communities through compassion,
care, education encouragement, spiritual support, and community-based service.
We support vulnerable children, orphans, widows, youth, women, struggling families, and communities
facing hardship. Our focus is on people who need practical help, encouragement, protection,
and long-term hope.
Samaritans for Children is based in Uganda and works with communities where children and families
need support. Our work is community-centered and built around practical service, local relationships,
and partnerships.
Our programmes include children’s support, family strengthening, education encouragement,
community outreach, spiritual care, livelihood support, partnerships, and practical assistance
to vulnerable people and families.
