As we close this year, we do so with hearts full of gratitude to God and deep appreciation for everyone who has walked this journey with us. At Samaritans for Children, we recognize that every milestone reached and every life touched is a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the generosity of His people.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.”
— Psalm 107:1
Gratitude at the Center of Our Mission
This year, we have witnessed God’s hand at work through acts of compassion, service, and love extended to children and vulnerable communities. Each program implemented, each child supported, and each family strengthened reflects Christ’s call to love and serve others.
Jesus reminded His followers that service is an act of worship:
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:40
We are thankful to God for:
Children whose lives were impacted through care, education, and protection
Staff and volunteers who served selflessly
Partners and donors who gave faithfully and sacrificially
Your support has been an answer to prayer and a channel through which God’s love has flowed.
Remembering God’s Faithfulness
Looking back, we see that this year brought both opportunities and challenges. There were moments when resources were stretched and circumstances uncertain, yet God remained our provider.
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 4:19
Through your partnership, God supplied what was needed—often at just the right time. This faithfulness strengthens our confidence as we look toward the future.
A Christ-Like Reflection on the Year
Closing the year in a Christ-like way means acknowledging that all we have comes from God.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1
We celebrate the progress made, but we also humbly recognize that every success belongs to Him. We entrust unfinished work, unmet needs, and future plans into His hands, confident that His purposes will prevail.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for Your faithfulness throughout this year. Thank You for every child reached, every life encouraged, and every partner who gave generously. We acknowledge that every good gift comes from You (James 1:17).
As we close this year, we surrender our work, our plans, and our future into Your hands. Renew our strength, guide our steps, and help us serve with humility and love. May all that we do continue to reflect the compassion and heart of Jesus Christ.
We trust You for the year ahead and give You all the glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
